In 1991, nine friends came together to sing some Christmas carols at Angel Underground Station hoping to raise a few pounds for the Terrence Higgins Trust (THT). London was in the midst of the AIDS crisis and the men, who belonged to a social group called London Friend, sang together to find a place of support, of friendship and of brotherhood. Little did they know what they had started.
Fast-forward 30 years, and this, once small, band of singers now calls itself the London Gay Men’s Chorus (LGMC). Boasting over 200 members, the LGMC is the largest gay choir in Europe and regularly plays to sell-out crowds across London.
You’ll find the Chorus performing and producing theirown shows – covering genres from musical theatre toelectronica and anything inbetween – while also finding the time to sing at many other diverse events. The boys have been booked for the prestigious Snape Maltings Arts festical, GQ’s Man of the Year Awards and the famous London pop festival, Mighty Hoopla to name a few.
They’ve also worked with high profile partners like Disney, performing a special rendition of ‘Can You Feel The Love Tonight?’ for Pride in London, and Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber, recording their version of ‘Marry for Love’ from his musical ‘Bad Cinderella’.

Nuanced a cappella, on a huge scale. Formed in 2021, ChoirCo have quickly assimilated into the UK vocal community and bravely cemented themselves as London's freshest and largest a cappella choir. With 120 members across two groups, ChoirCo are proving that high quality and high quantity can beautifully co-exist. Music Director Erin McCullough's sole vision for ChoirCo is to make magic moments through group singing - and they're doing just that.
